Health and Wellbeing Shortlist
Vote for belifehappy
belifehappy has been nominated and shortlisted for the local Health and Wellbeing Award in the Deepings, Lincolnshire.
As many of you know belifehappy shares a holistic approach to your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. belifehappy offers individuals the opportunity to reconnect and recharge with relaxing reiki and holistic massage, and tools to empower your life and business with coaching.
belifehappy is centred on a key message to: give. play. love. learn today, tomorrow and everyday, with the aim to offer guidance, balance and choice across all areas of your life.
Passionate about our mental health, I’ve been raising awareness in the Deepings since 2010 with tea and talks and sponsored walks.
Voting for belifehappy will raise awareness and importance of our holistic health and wellbeing.

Why has belifehappy been shortlisted?
I originally joined the local Deeping Business Club in 2011 and more recently rejoined last year. I’ve been involved with local projects over the years including the 2009 Deepings Raft Race helping with the event plan and during 2011 and 2012 worked with Lincolnshire County Council and the Deeping Community Centre to offer Lifelong Learning programmes including Marketing for Small Businesses, CV Writing and Interview and Confidence Skills.
After a small break, I met my husband (also from the Deepings) and moved house in 2014. I then found some time to complete my first self help and wellbeing book: belifehappy: give. play. love. learn, which was published by Balboa Press in February 2015 and is available in hardback, paperback and ebook.
Since 2015 I have been steadily building my wellbeing services of reiki, holistic massage and empowering coaching in the area, based in my home treatment room. I initially trained in 2009 here in the UK and had my first treatment room in Paphos, Cyprus until I moved back to the UK and to Bourne. I’m really blessed with wonderful clients from the Deepings, surrounding villages, Stamford, Bourne and Peterborough.
I write wellbeing features for our local magazine I’d Rather Be in Deeping and also regularly attend the Stamford Mental Health Forum in order to help the Deepings keep up to date with the great work Stamford is achieving and future potential for this to be rolled out to our area.
I’m very active socially across twitter, facebook and instagram where I post videos, blogs, photo quotes and general posts generated by myself and also share related posts from inspiring authors, mentors and charities, with the aim to inspire and motivate the belifehappy community today, tomorrow and everyday.

belifehappy is not about me, it is about an inspiring butterfly who was gifted to me after the sudden death of my Dad in 2008. I was given the gift of life that day and I chose to accept it and make huge life changes; to stop fighting each day to living and loving each day; and making a positive difference in other people’s lives and founded belifehappy.
